OUR WHY - FOR THE SMALL BUSINESS OWNER
For over three years, I had the privilege of working for a company with a mission close to my heart: supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs by providing them with access to essential resources and capital. This experience was a standout chapter in my career as it allowed me to utilize my digital expertise to assist small businesses.
Amidst the challenges of COVID-19, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of digital solutions as we helped many companies pivot and optimize their services for the online realm. This period not only solidified my commitment to supporting main street small businesses but also deepened my understanding of the critical role digital transformation plays in their success. Now, armed with this invaluable experience, I'm excited to continue empowering small business owners on their digital journey.

HOW WE WORK
We deliver a practical mentorship program for small business owners. We aim to streamline your thinking in order to free your time to concentrate on expanding your business. We use frameworks to facilitate our mentorship program. We use the Mighty Networks platform to run our small business community.
1. THE frameworks
Frameworks are organized ways of thinking and doing things. They give you best practices that help guide decisions. We have business planning, marketing, and financial readiness frameworks. Once you learn them, it's up to you to use them (see point 3).
Using our framework:
We have live chats, or conversations, every month to present frameworks. You can"Join the Conversation" in free, small group lessons.
Each session provides clear actions, or homework, to complete.
Sessions are recorded so that you can come back to them when you need them.
Questions are supported during drop-in office hours . You can find all these events listed in the Events section of the community.
2. NO-NONSENSE ADVICE
Serious about starting a business? Then there are must-do's. If your business model doesn't make sense, it's better to know early. No sense in putting in the work if you can't operate like a proper business and make money. Yes, even non-profits are in it to make money.
To do run a business you must know the basics:
Business model
Staying compliant (we recommend ZenBusiness)
Basic financial know-how
Time management and prioritization
Marketing
3. Accountability
Follow the frameworks, use the templates, and set smart goals. Don’t overload your to-do list, or you'll just spin your wheels.
